This letter of reference is to endorse Mme Poirier.She is a professional and specialized massage therapist who I saw several times a year ago on the advise of a doctor.

​

On the evening of january 5,2010 I pinched a nerve in my neck. The muscles went into spams and shot pain to my right shoulder.I coud not get in or out of bed.I called a doctor the next day and got a prescription for morphine pills and was told to be patient.

​

I had never been in so much pain and therefore it was the first time I experience the limits of traditional medical practice.The only help they could provide me was very constipating medication that did little ease the pain.

​

When I saw Dr.            ,she realized that I could not go on in this condition because the pain was circlating to the left front side as well.She suggestedd I see Mme Poirier.The treatements on the 8,11,13 and 15 of january 2010 were such that I was able to let go the medication I was taking witch were causing nasty side effects.

​

Mme Poirier suggested that I see an osteopath when she was satisfied with the results she achieved.I followed her advice and I am happy to report that I have not had an incident since.

​

Fortunately,there was an alternative for me thanks to a doctor who beleived that massage therapy was urgent in my case.In view of my personal ordeal and the relief and healing that occured under the care of Mme Gaëtane Poirier I feel in my responsability to support her specialized practice.

​

It is imperative for our health care system to embrace equally alternative prevention and healing methods if we are to move forward in this field and incorporate it into mainstream medecine. My case is a 

clear indication that there is a need for this.
